Submit Chapter Proposal

After login for the VERY FIRST TIME
          • On top right, under your username, click “View profile”
          • Under “Roles”, choose “Author” and “Chapter Author”
          • Save
          • On the left panel click “Submissions”
          • Click “New Submission” 
          • Start submission following the guide below

  1. Start
              • Select “Edited Volume”
              • Agree to all submission requirements
              • In “Cover Note to Editor”, write “Chapter proposal for [insert the tentative title of book]”
              • In “Submit As”, choose “Chapter Author”; Agree to privacy policy
              • Save and Continue
  2. Upload File
               • For “Submission Component”, select “Chapter Proposal”
               • Select the file from your computer and upload
               • Ensure that this a single Microsoft Word document
               • Continue
               • Continue
               • Complete
               • Save and Continue
  3. Catalogue
               • Ignore the Prefix column
               • Enter the title of the chapter. This can be copied from the manuscript
               • Ignore the subtitle column
               • Enter the abstract; this can be copied from the manuscript
               • Add contributors in the order they appear in the chapter
               • Enter all relevant data
               • Continue to add all authors
               • After entering all authors, if you wish to rearrange the order of authors, click ‘order’
               • Arrange the order by dragging the names up or down
               • Once ordering is complete, click ‘done’
               • Ignore “Chapters” section
               • Save and Continue
  4. Confirmation
               • Finish submission
               • Confirm submission
